Overview

Integrated fiber optic sensors (IFOS) are advanced sensing systems that utilize optical fibers as both the sensing medium and signal transmission channel. These sensors are capable of simultaneously detecting multiple parameters such as strain, temperature, pressure, salinity, and chemical composition by integrating different sensing mechanisms like fiber Bragg gratings (FBG), Fabry-Perot interferometry (FPI), and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) within a single fiber structure . Design and Structure
