Bend Radius and Stress Management Maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer to prevent signal loss or fiber breakage. On ramps, use cable trays, conduits, or protective ducts to guide the fiber along curves and inclines, avoiding sharp turns or kinks . 4. Protection and Conduits Install the fiber in protective conduits or raceways along the ramp to shield it from physical damage, moisture, and temperature variations.
